Sensitivity Analysis

Sensitivity analyses show the impact of parameter uncertainty on projections.

Known sources of parameter uncertainty include:

the projected population,

the prevalence of vision problems,

the cost of vision problems.

The sensitivity analysis does not reflect unknown causes of uncertainty, such as major changes in epidemiology, medical care and utilization, costs, or inflation. In this analysis we incorporate sensitivity analyses based on uncertainty in the population projections, the current prevalence of vision problems, and costs of vision problems.
